Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for Texas
• Prior experience working in school settings, preferably K-12
• Strong background in fine and gross motor skill development
• Capability to deliver individualized (1:1) pediatric therapy
• Knowledge of educational compliance, documentation, and goal planning
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to K-12 students, addressing fine and gross motor skill needs
• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into students’ school environments
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation per school requirements and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and progress to guide student support teams
• Adapt strategies as needed to help each student achieve educational goals
