Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in Texas (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience working with pediatric, school-aged, or adolescent populations preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements in an educational context
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students across a range of abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and interpret results to create individualized intervention plans for students
• Develop, implement, and monitor treatment strategies targeting fine motor, sensory, visual, and self-help skills
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in group settings
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
• Offer guidance and in-service training to staff on best OT practices, accommodations, and adaptive tools
