A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for a K-12 school setting in Fortson, GA, serving the Muscogee County School District near Columbus, GA. This contract position runs from January 1st, 2026, through May 21st, 2026, with onsite work hours totaling approximately 37.5 hours per week. Specific school locations within the district are yet to be finalized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive OT services to K-12 students based on individual needs and district priorities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to pediatric clients in an educational setting
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress
  • Manage caseload efficiently, adjusting therapy focus according to student requirements and school assignments

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Georgia Occupational Therapist (OT) license is mandatory
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in OT therapy, preferably including pediatrics, is highly preferred
  • Candidates with prior school-based OT experience will be given priority
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) with relevant school experience are also encouraged to apply
