Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Active California Occupational Therapy license required
  • Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience highly valued
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Effective communication, organization, and time management abilities
  • Commitment to supporting students’ physical, social, and academic development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct OT services to students in alignment with their IEP goals
  • Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
  • Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings, offering recommendations and insights for each student
  • Communicate regularly with teachers and families to ensure coordinated care
  • Adapt therapy interventions to meet the unique needs of each child
