Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting school-aged children across multiple sites in the Marion/Upper Sandusky region. This role covers the full academic year, with assignments from August 17th to June 3rd, working 35 hours per week. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to empower students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade, tailoring interventions to foster independence and student success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state (or eligible for licensure)
- Experience or strong interest in a school-based OT setting
- Ability to work with a diverse PK-12 caseload
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to travel between 2-3 school sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs, as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Evaluate and assess student abilities, motor skills, and functional performance
- Develop, implement, and document individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
