Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure in Indiana
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with educational best practices and IEP development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for student, staff, and family collaboration
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized OT interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the evaluation process
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and make recommendations for supports
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer insights into students’ functional needs
- Adapt interventions and materials for students’ unique abilities and learning styles
