Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Active Occupational Therapist licensure in Indiana
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with educational best practices and IEP development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for student, staff, and family collaboration
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized OT interventions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to the evaluation process
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress and make recommendations for supports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer insights into students’ functional needs
  • Adapt interventions and materials for students’ unique abilities and learning styles
