We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a full-time contract position for the upcoming school year, working closely with a welcoming educational community located near Franklin, NH. This is an outstanding opportunity to utilize your OT expertise in a school-based environment, engaging with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful change.
This contract spans the academic year, from August 31, 2026 to June 17, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour work week.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain one before the start date)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions
- Collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills for working alongside educators, parents, and other specialists
- Commitment to student-centered care and evidence-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of students’ motor and sensory needs to support academic participation and daily living skills
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to implement strategies within the classroom setting
- Maintain clear, timely documentation on student progress and communication with families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support comprehensive student programs
