Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as a full-time Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting! In this contract position, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students by collaborating with educators and families to foster academic, social, and emotional growth. This role begins on August 27, 2026 and concludes on June 17, 2027, providing stable, meaningful work throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active OT license for the state or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
  • Experience or coursework in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy highly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to connect effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to assess students’ needs and create individualized support plans

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students in group and individual settings
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support students’ participation and success in daily activities
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP and student support meetings to advocate for students’ needs
  • Adapt therapeutic strategies and interventions to each student’s unique abilities and goals
