In this contract role, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to provide tailored interventions that help students develop essential life skills and thrive academically and socially.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Hold or ability to obtain a current state OT license
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly desirable
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet student and district needs
  • Comfort with IEP documentation and participation in multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans for students
  • Implement therapy sessions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and participate in meetings for student progress and IEP planning
  • Provide in-service training and resources for educational staff as needed
  • Support inclusion strategies and adapt learning environments for students
