Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in California required
  • Prior experience in a school-based OT setting is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate within school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Assess students to determine therapy needs and progress, keeping clear records
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and adapt interventions as needed
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to maximize student support
  • Educate staff and families about strategies and accommodations to foster student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation, data, and reports in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
