Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Previous experience working as a school-based OT, or a strong desire to support students in educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement individualized interventions to foster student engagement and independence
- Dedication to maintaining thorough and timely documentation aligned with school policies
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Evaluate and assess students’ needs to develop appropriate treatment plans and interventions
- Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to achieve optimal student outcomes
- Conduct progress monitoring and provide updates to IEP teams
- Promote fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills through creative and evidence-based strategies
