You’ll work with an approximate caseload of 35 students in a collaborative and inclusive setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid license and credentials as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Familiarity with preschool through middle school populations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration abilities with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt interventions to individual needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine OT needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive functioning
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and update goals as required
- Consult with teachers and families to implement effective strategies in the classroom and at home
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights to optimize student success
- Travel between two nearby school sites as part of your weekly schedule
