Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working in a dynamic educational environment serving students from preschool through 8th grade. This position, starting immediately and running through the end of May, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting young learners across two school campuses. You’ll work with an approximate caseload of 35 students in a collaborative and inclusive setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid license and credentials as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Familiarity with preschool through middle school populations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration abilities with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt interventions to individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine OT needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive functioning
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and update goals as required
  • Consult with teachers and families to implement effective strategies in the classroom and at home
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights to optimize student success
  • Travel between two nearby school sites as part of your weekly schedule
