Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current California OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and progress updates
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Document student goals, sessions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently
- Educate school staff and families on adaptive strategies to support students’ participation
- Maintain compliance with school district and state documentation standards
