Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current California OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments to identify students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and progress updates
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Document student goals, sessions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently
  • Educate school staff and families on adaptive strategies to support students’ participation
  • Maintain compliance with school district and state documentation standards
