Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience in a school environment, working with K-12 populations preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, IEP development, goal setting, and implementing therapy within educational settings
  • Excellent communication and organization, adaptable to changing student needs
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Position Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services within classrooms and other educational contexts
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals and ensure effective interventions
  • Document student progress, maintain compliance with educational and therapy standards
  • Engage families and educators to provide strategies for student success both at home and school
