Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school environment, working with K-12 populations preferred
- Skilled in assessment, IEP development, goal setting, and implementing therapy within educational settings
- Excellent communication and organization, adaptable to changing student needs
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Position Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services within classrooms and other educational contexts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals and ensure effective interventions
- Document student progress, maintain compliance with educational and therapy standards
- Engage families and educators to provide strategies for student success both at home and school
