This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and focuses on delivering OT services to a diverse K-12th grade caseload. You’ll closely collaborate with educators and families, helping students access their curriculum and achieve independence.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state
  • Experience or interest in school-based occupational therapy
  • Understanding of K-12 educational environments and student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to various student abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and evaluate students to identify OT needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, documenting progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Offer consultation and resources to staff regarding sensory, motor, and adaptive needs
  • Adapt materials and classroom environments to enhance student participation
