Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for practice in California
  • Experience or genuine interest in working with K-12 student populations
  • Background in school-based OT services strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods to individual student needs
  • Enthusiasm for team collaboration and open communication

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students to determine therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Document progress toward IEP goals and maintain thorough records
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and communicate findings with families and staff
  • Provide training, strategies, and resources to teachers and caregivers to support student success in the classroom
  • Stay updated with best practices in school-based occupational therapy
