Occupational Therapist School Setting in Fremont, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California, or eligibility to obtain before the start date
• Prior experience working in school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
• Ability to assess students’ functional abilities, develop and implement intervention plans
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and other related service professionals
• Flexible, compassionate, and able to adapt to the dynamic needs of students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative Occupational Therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and create individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate student records and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional input
• Participate in professional development and school training as needed
