Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state
  • NBCOT certification preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
  • Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine their occupational therapy needs
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational success
  • Maintain timely, compliant documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on goal development and interventions
  • Recommend specialized equipment, accommodations, and classroom strategies
  • Monitor student progress and refine interventions as needed
