With your OT expertise, you’ll play a crucial role in students’ academic success and well-being, collaborating with supportive school teams and families.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
  • Prior experience delivering OT services in school settings (charter or public)
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and IDEA compliance
  • Excellent time management and adaptability; thrive while traveling between multiple school sites
  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and empowering their growth and participation
  • Familiarity with providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ needs to deliver targeted occupational therapy intervention and support
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals, in coordination with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Travel between five charter school campuses in the Peninsula (Redwood City/East Palo Alto) and San Lorenzo areas
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation required for IEPs, progress reports, and service logs
  • Foster positive communication with school staff and families, providing resources and education as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute actively to the school community
