Occupational Therapist School Setting - Fremont, CA

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (active and in good standing)
• Master’s degree or higher required in Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to contribute to multidisciplinary educational teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ motor skills, sensory needs, and daily functioning to inform individualized treatment plans
• Deliver individualized and group OT interventions geared to support educational goals
• Participate in the development of IEPs, present findings, and collaborate with teachers and families
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Provide training and resources to staff and families to optimize student success
• Adapt and modify materials/environment to promote accessibility and participation for all students
