Working exclusively onsite, you’ll collaborate with school teams and families to support pediatric clients with developmental disabilities. This position spans from ASAP through June 11, allowing you to make a measurable difference over the course of the school year at two engaging locations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active license, or eligibility to obtain licensure, to practice Occupational Therapy in California in accordance with the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act
  • Minimum of two years’ clinical experience in pediatric therapy with a focus on developmental disabilities, preferably in school settings
  • Proven strength in working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and engaging effectively with families
  • Commitment to onsite presence; remote, virtual, or hybrid options are not available

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, adapting interventions to meet specific educational goals
  • Assess each student’s motor and daily living skills, collaboratively developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to enhance students’ participation and success in school routines
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and best practices
  • Support transition planning and strategies for students progressing between school years or environments
