Occupational Therapist School Setting in Fremont, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEPs, therapy documentation, and working with diverse student populations
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
• Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students
• Assess, evaluate, and develop intervention plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining thorough records
• Consult and collaborate with educational staff to support student participation in school activities
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual sensory, motor, and functional needs
• Communicate progress and strategies effectively with families and school personnel
