This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with educators and families while supporting a diverse caseload of students. Your expertise will help students build key skills for academic and daily living success.

Ideal candidates are passionate about pediatric therapy, eager to foster functional independence, and skilled in designing interventions that encourage growth. You’ll travel between schools, offering both direct therapy and consultative support to teachers and staff, empowering the broader educational team.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid California credentials
  • Recent school-based OT experience preferred, but strong new grads encouraged to apply
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload (currently 22 direct service, 13 consult)
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills
  • Collaborative and flexible, comfortable working across multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Provide consultative services to teachers and staff, sharing strategies for classroom success
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state policies
  • Attend IEP meetings, contributing your OT expertise to guide team decisions
  • Partner with families to promote carryover of skills at home

This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate between $55 and $70. You’ll enjoy the satisfaction of helping children thrive, while working regular school-day hours.
