School Occupational Therapist | Fremont, California

Step into a collaborative educational environment where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will directly support student success! This opportunity offers a full-time contract role, working 8 hours per day and supporting three schools in the area. In this rewarding position, you'll deliver high-quality services to a manageable caseload of 22 direct service students, while also providing consultative support to 13 additional students. You'll work closely with diverse student populations, empowering them to reach their fullest potential and thrive in the classroom.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous pediatric or schools-based OT experience preferred
• Proficient at managing a varied caseload of direct and consultative students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with teachers, staff, and families
• Adaptability and organizational skills in a dynamic school setting
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation best practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based OT interventions to students receiving direct services
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
• Consult and collaborate with school teams to support students with diverse needs
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress discussions
• Maintain timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Travel between three local schools to provide in-person support
