Compensation for this role ranges from $55 to $70 per hour.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially TK-5th grade, is highly valued
- Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with educators and families
- Ability to assess and document students’ therapy needs and progress effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in adherence with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs and create targeted intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student access and participation in school activities
- Maintain accurate records, data, and reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a collaborative problem-solving team
