What we look for:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure (California required)
- Previous experience providing OT services within a school or pediatric setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with children, staff, and families
- Compassion, creativity, and adaptability in addressing diverse student needs
- Commitment to best practices and ethical care for TK-5th grade populations
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to students according to their individualized goals and IEPs
- Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility determination processes
- Develop, monitor, and adjust therapy interventions and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies into the classroom and home
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and state guidelines
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for evaluations, planning, and student success
