What we look for:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy licensure (California required)
  • Previous experience providing OT services within a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with children, staff, and families
  • Compassion, creativity, and adaptability in addressing diverse student needs
  • Commitment to best practices and ethical care for TK-5th grade populations

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct OT services to students according to their individualized goals and IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility determination processes
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust therapy interventions and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies into the classroom and home
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and state guidelines
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for evaluations, planning, and student success
