Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to work collaboratively with IEP teams
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach to working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ abilities and develop individualized intervention plans tailored to educational goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, supporting their functional participation in academic and social activities
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure integrated therapy within the school community
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
- Offer consultative support and resources to classroom staff for adaptive strategies and modifications
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
