Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist within a welcoming educational environment. This contract opportunity spans the academic year, with an assignment running from August 17th through June 3rd, offering consistency and meaningful impact over the school year. You’ll divide your expertise across 2-3 school locations, working with students in grades PK-12 and helping them achieve their fullest potential in classroom and daily life activities.

With a 35-hour work week and the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, this position is perfect for clinicians passionate about student development and holistic care. Flex your clinical skills while providing therapy, collaborating with teachers, and ensuring effective interventions tailored to each child.

Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Ohio
  • Prior experience as a school-based OT preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload spanning Pre-K through 12th grade
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to travel between 2-3 school sites in the Marion/Upper Sandusky area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ motor skills and sensory processing needs within a school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students, documenting progress toward established goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, coordinate with teachers, parents, and staff
  • Provide direct intervention and consultative services in a variety of educational environments
  • Educate and advise school personnel on the integration of therapy into the classroom
