Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfortable conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services
- Ability to efficiently manage caseloads and document progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for students
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to address student needs and recommend adaptive strategies
- Offer consultations to educators and parents regarding interventions and classroom modifications
- Document all assessments, interventions, and progress reports according to district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning for student growth
