Desired Qualifications:

• Active OT license in the state of Texas
• Background in school-based occupational therapy settings
• Experience or strong interest in Home Health and Healthcare environments
• Skilled at adapting interventions to individual student needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and work with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students to determine eligibility and need for occupational therapy services
• Provide direct therapy in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to maximize progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for case files
• Offer consultation and training to school staff and families on strategies for classroom and home use
• Foster independence in daily skills, fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care tasks

This contract position offers competitive pay ranging from $45 to $55 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
