Key Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state
  • Experience delivering OT services in a school environment highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, goal writing, and progress monitoring
  • Adaptable communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Capability to manage a flexible schedule and travel between assigned school sites
  • Dedication to empowering students with diverse abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support student progress toward their IEP goals
  • Consult and collaborate with educational teams and family members on best practices to support each child’s unique needs
  • Track student progress meticulously and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state procedures
  • Offer creative solutions to support fine motor, sensory, and self-help skill development
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary collaboration
