Occupational Therapist School Setting - Fuquay Varina, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active OT license in North Carolina
• Certification as a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR)
• Previous experience in a school-based environment highly valued
• Understanding of IEP processes, student assessment, and intervention planning
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Comfortable managing a dynamic caseload, potentially across multiple school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to identify occupational therapy needs within academic settings
• Create and deliver individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Offer direct therapy services and consultative support to staff and families
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and outcomes
• Flexible to adapt and coordinate with varying school schedules or multiple schools as needs arise
• Advocate for inclusive practices fostering student participation in classroom and school activities

This contract assignment spans the academic year, beginning November 2, 2026, and concluding May 21, 2027, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
