Serving PreK through 8th grade, this onsite opportunity offers a dynamic caseload, allowing you to deliver essential support that helps students succeed in their academic and daily lives.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapy License required
- IVP Fingerprint Card is a must
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to achieve student goals
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to support diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy sessions to students from PreK to 8th grade
- Complete assessments, develop plans of care, and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student education plans
- Educate staff and families on strategies to promote student success within classroom and community environments
- Stay current with best practices and comply with all professional standards
