School Occupational Therapist | Galivants Ferry, South Carolina

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students according to IEP requirements and school guidelines
• Assess and document students’ functional skills, strengths, and needs within the educational setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to specific student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support classroom adaptations and student inclusion
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational and behavioral strategies
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and ongoing evaluations
• Assist with transition planning and recommendations for classroom supports

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current OT license in South Carolina or eligibility to obtain one
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
