Elementary Middle School School Occupational Therapist - Gardena, California

This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role serves elementary, middle, and high school learners, spanning three supportive sites. You’ll partner with educators and families to help young people thrive, with a current caseload of 49. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through the remainder of the school year up to June 5, 2026.

Your school-based experience will help students and staff succeed as you deliver tailored interventions, craft IEP goals, and support inclusion in daily activities. You’ll enjoy variety each day while working across age groups and collaborating with passionate colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy certification and licensure required
• Demonstrated school-based experience as an OT
• Experience serving elementary, middle, and high school students
• Strong communication, consultation, and organization skills
• Knowledge of IEP writing and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based OT services for a diverse caseload of 49 students
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and accommodations
• Travel between three nearby school sites as part of your weekly routine
• Support students in accessing curriculum and promoting independence
