This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make an immediate impact, working 40 hours per week for the remainder of the school year through June 5, 2026. With a dedicated caseload of 49 students across three sites, you’ll play a vital role in helping learners achieve their personal and academic milestones.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license and relevant school certification
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting required
- Skilled in working with diverse age groups—elementary, middle, and high school students
- Ability to manage and travel between multiple school locations
- Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills
- Passion for fostering student confidence, independence, and growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized OT services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess, plan, and implement interventions to support student participation and progress
- Coordinate and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and evaluation reports
- Provide consultation and resources to faculty for effective classroom strategies
- Adapt and modify environments and materials to facilitate student success across all settings
