We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide targeted, individualized therapy services to a student in a school-based environment near Garland, TX. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to assess needs and create effective, measurable therapy interventions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 30-minute occupational therapy sessions once per week to one student, following a structured plan
  • Document progress and maintain accurate student records in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the school environment
  • Participate in meetings and discussions related to student progress and adaptation of therapy goals as needed
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and student privacy
