Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students with diverse needs in an educational setting near Genesee, ID. This contract position is perfect for a skilled Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference during the 2026-2027 school year. The assignment runs from August 26th, 2026, through June 9th, 2027, offering a chance to build impactful connections and see tangible progress in your students.

You’ll work with a dynamic caseload of approximately 50 students with a variety of sensory and fine motor skill requirements. The role is designed for a full-time, 40-hour workweek, but flexibility is possible—a four-day schedule may be available depending on overall staffing.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid OT or COTA licensure (school-based experience preferred)
  • Background in OT across settings: K-12 schools, home health, general healthcare, or teletherapy
  • Strong understanding of sensory integration and fine motor interventions
  • Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs) and documenting progress
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other therapists
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services and interventions tailored to each student’s needs
  • Evaluate and document student progress as part of the IEP process
  • Support students in developing independence with classroom tasks and routines
  • Work in partnership with teachers and support staff for effective carryover of strategies
  • Participate in meetings as an integral member of the student support team
