Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Hold an active or easily transferable Occupational Therapy license in Delaware
  • Recent experience providing OT services in a school setting, preferably with K-6 students
  • Skilled in evaluating and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Committed to working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance direct services with documentation and meetings

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT interventions to students to increase independence and participation in school activities
  • Conduct assessments and document progress, adjusting plans as needed
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Stay current on best practices to ensure effective treatment approaches
