Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in school-based settings with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong knowledge of sensory integration, fine motor development, and adaptive strategies
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals
• Ability to manage caseloads and document progress efficiently
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-6th grade students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and student evaluations (allocated during the half day)
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic recommendations into the classroom
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of interventions and student progress
