Multiple opportunities are available for qualified OTs seeking a rewarding, full-time, in-person position supporting students’ growth and success. You’ll work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide essential therapy services across a variety of grade levels, determined by your skills and the district’s needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI
- Experience providing OT services in a school-based setting preferred
- Comfortable working on-site in a K-12 educational environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for supporting children’s development and educational goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students according to IEPs and 504 plans
- Assess, document, and evaluate student progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to support student participation
- Support diverse student needs across grade bands; caseload assignments will be matched to experience and district requirements
- Attend meetings, contribute to IEP development, and provide training to staff as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
