Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a dedicated Occupational Therapist working in an engaging elementary school setting near Gig Harbor, WA. Serving a single elementary campus, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of 32 young learners by supporting their growth and participation in academic life through in-person therapy.

Your expertise will play a vital role in promoting independence, developing fine motor and sensory-motor skills, and helping students thrive in their school environment. This is a full-time position, with workdays totaling 7.5 hours, spanning from ASAP through June 11, 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
• Valid WA Occupational Therapist License
• Fingerprints cleared through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
• Experience or competence in a school-based OT setting
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills with children, staff, and families
• Commitment to in-person therapy services exclusively

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy sessions
• Evaluate students and develop targeted intervention plans based on IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district regulations
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
• Contribute to an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all students
