A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to make a positive impact within a supportive educational setting near Gilford, NH. This contract position runs from 8/31/2026 through 6/17/2027, offering 37.5 hours of work each week. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in New Hampshire, or eligibility to obtain one prior to the start date
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans for students K-12
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Proficient in documentation and progress reporting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluate students requiring OT services as part of their educational programs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) addressing students’ specific needs
  • Provide therapy sessions individually or in small groups, promoting growth in fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate OT strategies within the classroom
  • Maintain thorough records of student progress and provide updates for IEP meetings and reviews
  • Engage families in understanding and supporting their child’s development and progress
