Occupational Therapist School Setting in Gilroy, CA

This contract role focuses on providing exceptional therapy support to a dynamic caseload of PreK students (ages 3-5), collaborating closely with educators and families to empower children in developing crucial skills for academic and social success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Familiarity with PreK populations (ages 3-5)
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for preschool students
• Provide direct therapy services within the classroom and small group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote best practices for student success
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
