This full-time contract opportunity focuses on making a critical difference in early childhood development as you work with a PreK caseload. You'll collaborate with educators and families, guiding students to reach essential milestones and foster independence in the classroom setting.

Your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will help shape positive outcomes for children at a formative stage, with dedicated support and resources every step of the way.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous pediatric or PreK school-based OT experience is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of age-appropriate interventions and sensory integration
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Skilled communicator able to partner with teachers and parents
  • Committed to ongoing professional development and best practices
  • Organizational skills to manage documentation and schedules

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to PreK students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess and document student needs and monitor progress
  • Create engaging, developmentally appropriate intervention activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and planning sessions
  • Maintain thorough records to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment for every child
