Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OTR/L licensure (or eligibility) in California
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable traveling between school sites as part of an itinerant caseload
- Flexibility, adaptability, and an enthusiastic approach to supporting a variety of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ functional strengths and areas for support
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals
- Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and support services in multiple school settings
- Work closely with teachers, specialists, and families to promote student participation and independence
- Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
- Travel between assigned schools, adapting interventions to each unique environment
