Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR) licensure
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but open to enthusiastic candidates eager to contribute to K-12 student development
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
• Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, multi-site schedule
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students per IEP guidelines
• Conducting evaluations and assessments to shape individualized interventions
• Creating and implementing strategies that enhance student participation in academic and daily living activities
• Keeping thorough records and progress reports, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
• Consulting with educators and staff, offering training and support for OT strategies in the classroom
• Participating in IEP meetings and case conferences as needed
• Traveling between assigned school locations as part of the itinerant nature of the role
