Occupational Therapist School Setting - Gilroy, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Active OT license in California
• Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
• Solid understanding of current assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes for the K-12 population
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans targeting students’ access to curriculum and daily school activities
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services per IEP recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and successful inclusion
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student support
