Key Qualifications:
- Active OT license in California
- Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
- Solid understanding of current assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes for the K-12 population
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans targeting students’ access to curriculum and daily school activities
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services per IEP recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and successful inclusion
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student support
