Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a current OT license to practice in the state
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans for diverse student needs and learning environments
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a diverse caseload

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
  • Deliver occupational therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
  • Track and document progress, making data-informed adjustments to interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and staff training sessions
  • Educate school staff and families on OT strategies and adaptive techniques
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students
