Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting K-8 students as an onsite Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers a rewarding setting where you will make a lasting impact on students’ school participation and daily living skills across two welcoming sites. You’ll work full-time alongside dedicated educators and professionals and collaborate closely with school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
The assignment runs from August 5, 2026 through June 2, 2027. The director is currently out and interviews will begin mid-July upon their return—so there is ample time to get your resume and application materials in!
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid State Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with K-8 pediatric populations highly desired
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 38+ students, plus consultative duties
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Adaptable, compassionate, and able to motivate students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate students’ functional needs affecting classroom participation and academic success
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct OT services across two campus locations
- Document progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IEPs and student goals
- Deliver consultative support to school staff and student families as needed
