Most students require weekly services, with a small number benefiting from two sessions each week. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license (or eligibility) in Mississippi
- Demonstrated experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings
- Strong understanding of IEP procedures, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Solid track record with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and collaborative skills with both school staff and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEPs
- Deliver engaging occupational therapy sessions, both virtually and in-person as needed
- Maintain accurate records of progress, attendance, and communication with families and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions, contributing your expertise to student support plans
