Occupational Therapist School Setting in Glen Allen, VA

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid OT license in the state
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and adapt therapy plans for varied student needs
• Familiarity with assistive technology and sensory integration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families
• Document services, progress, and outcomes according to school and professional standards
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to student goals and progress
• Educate and train staff and families on strategies that support student development
• Provide both direct and consultative services across a diverse caseload
