Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid OT license in the state
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and implementation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and adapt therapy plans for varied student needs
- Familiarity with assistive technology and sensory integration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families
- Document services, progress, and outcomes according to school and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to student goals and progress
- Educate and train staff and families on strategies that support student development
- Provide both direct and consultative services across a diverse caseload
