Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid OT license in California, or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start date
- Experience collaborating in school settings, working with children ranging from preschool through high school
- Strong communication abilities with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proven organizational skills to manage documentation, assessment, and progress reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized occupational therapy plans to support educational success
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in group and one-on-one settings, both within the classroom and specialized environments
- Collaborate closely with educators, case managers, and family members to integrate therapy goals into students’ academic routines
- Maintain compliance with IEP documentation, progress reports, and related service logs
- Contribute to IEP meetings and student support teams with professional insight and compassionate guidance
