Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT license in Colorado
  • Experience delivering therapy in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric OT interventions and IEP processes
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and strengths
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligning with educational goals
  • Provide direct interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Collaborate with educators to modify learning environments and classroom materials for accessibility
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support student achievement
  • Offer guidance to staff and parents on strategies to encourage student independence
