Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license in Colorado
- Experience delivering therapy in school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric OT interventions and IEP processes
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligning with educational goals
- Provide direct interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation
- Collaborate with educators to modify learning environments and classroom materials for accessibility
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support student achievement
- Offer guidance to staff and parents on strategies to encourage student independence
