Occupational Therapist School Setting in Gooding, ID

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state or ability to obtain prior to start
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant federal and state regulations
• Creative and adaptable mindset, with a passion for encouraging student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations for students referred by educational teams
• Develop and implement interventions to support fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence in the classroom
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to provide input on IEPs and student progress
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation as required by school guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, team consults, and in-service training sessions
• Support students’ access to the learning environment by recommending classroom accommodations or modifications
