Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services for students in a dynamic educational setting. This position ensures valuable support across College Park Elementary and a possible secondary school with a light caseload, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a manageable workload. With a start date as soon as possible and an assignment extending through June 4, 2027, you’ll have ample time to develop strong relationships with both students and staff.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active South Carolina Occupational Therapy license (SC OT) required
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs
  • Adaptability for working across multiple campuses as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and develop student-centered goals to enhance participation in school activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding motor skills, sensory needs, and adaptive strategies

This role offers a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to build expertise within two welcoming school communities while supporting students’ success and independence. Your expertise will directly contribute to students’ academic and personal growth throughout the school year.
