Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Indiana or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working with elementary-age children, particularly in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective partnerships with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to develop and deliver individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Comfortable working onsite, providing hands-on support and assessments within school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations for elementary students and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services focusing on fine motor, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation skills
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and success
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, share strategies, and provide ongoing support to staff and families
