As an Occupational Therapist in this setting, you will focus on elementary school-aged students, developing and implementing interventions that foster independence and academic achievement. The preferred modality for this position is onsite, providing you with enriching day-to-day interactions and hands-on experiences with students and colleagues alike. The position runs full-time, aligning with the school year calendar from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to varying student needs
  • Comfortable delivering services in an onsite, elementary school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students to determine their occupational therapy needs
  • Develop individualized therapy plans focusing on motor skills, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents for comprehensive support
  • Maintain thorough records and contribute to IEP development and meetings
  • Provide direct, evidence-based therapy sessions and progress monitoring throughout the academic year
